How do I qualify for Mox+?

Customers who maintain a min. HKD$600k (or eqv) Mox+ Average Daily Balance will automatically qualify for Mox+ for the following month.

For Mox+ we count all your account assets meaning all investments and deposit balances.

The Mox+ Average Daily Balance is calculated as your end of day Mox+ Average Daily Balance (sum of total assets) divided by the total amount of days in that month.

If you maintain the required Mox+ Average Daily Balance then you will be a Mox+ customer for the next 1 month, and will continue to be a Mox+ customer if you continue to meet our eligibility criteria each subsequent month

E.g., if you maintain HKD$600k (or eqv) Average Daily Balance or higher for Jan, you will qualify for Mox+ in February. If you maintain min. HKD$600k (or eqv) Mox+ Average Daily Balance in Feb, you will continue to be a Mox+ customer in March.

What happens if my balance falls below the required 600k?

You will not be charged any fees for being downgraded.

If you are currently a Mox+ customer and your Mox+ Average Daily Balance falls below the required HKD600k then it means you will be at risk of losing your Mox+ status for the following month.

In this case we would recommend you to increase the total assets (deposit or invest are all included as part of Mox+ calculation) you have in your account to meet the Mox+ Average Daily Balance requirement.

If at the end of the month your Mox+ Average Daily Balance is still below the 600k requirement then you will be downgraded from Mox+ and will no longer enjoy the benefits.

Whenever you next meet the Mox+ Average Daily Balance requirement then you will once again be upgraded to Mox+.

Are there any other ways to get Mox+?

Mox+ is currently only available to users that keep an Mox+ Average Daily Balance of HKD $600k.

Can I cancel/downgrade my Mox+?

Your Mox+ status is valid for 1 month upon qualification. Your Mox+ status will automatically expire if you are unable to maintain the min. HKD $600k (or equivalent) Mox+ Average Daily Balance at the end of each month.

What is the Mox+ Mox+ Average Daily Balance, and how is it calculated?

The Mox+ Mox+ Average Daily Balance is calculated as the you end of day total asset balances (all deposits and all investment assets) divided by the number of days in the month. 

How does my invest tiering work in combination with Mox+?

With Mox+ you will automatically be upgraded to Pro tier and benefit from lower fees for investment services

If at the time of Mox+ you have a higher invest tier then you will remain on the higher tier.

If you are downgraded from Mox+ then your invest tier will be re-aligned based on your current Invest Tier level as outlined here: FAQ: Mox Invest Tier

How does the Mox+ Trial work?

Invited users will receive an opportunity to experience Mox+ for a specified period of time. We encourage you to maintain an average balance above HKD600k so that you can remain a Mox+ customer after the trial ends.

If at the end of the trial period you do not meet the HKD600k monthly average balance then you will no longer be eligible for Mox+beyond the trial period.

How do I get the free metal card with Mox+?

You need to keep your Mox+ status for at least three consecutive months before you can request your free metal card.

You will be notified once the metal card is available to be requested.

You can only receive one free metal card. Any subsequent replacements will have a replacement fee applied.

If you already hold a metal card then you cannot order a new free card.

What are the benefit of Mox+?

How do I know if I have Mox+?

You can see whether you are a Mox+ customer by entering the Mox+ page in the app and seeing if you have unlocked Mox+.

How can I check my Mox+ Average Daily Balance?

You can view your current Mox+ Average Daily Balance for the current month in the Mox app via the Mox+ page.

You can also view the last four months of your historical average balance in the app by going to the Mox+ page.

How to reach your dedicated hotline or chat when I am Mox+ customer?

As a Mox+ customer any chat or call raised via the app will be prioritised. Simply raise your request using the existing flow.

How can I redeem the Mox+ benefits?

Why am I not invited to join Mox+ for trial?

Mox+ is currently for invited customers only but soon it will be available to all users.

May I request to upgrade/downgrade Mox+ from my own?

If you qualify for Mox+ then you will automatically be upgraded to Mox+.

If you are a Mox+ customer and would like to downgrade then you can contact our Customer Care team.

I am not a fan of the new UI in the App for Mox+. Can I change it?

We appreciate colors are always subjective so if you are not a fan then you can easily switch back to the normal mode by clicking on the icon in top right, at the bottom you will see Mox+ dark mode toggle which you can turn on and off.

We hope to launch different color variations soon so hopefully we will find one to suit your color palette soon.
