Who are we looking for?
As a key member of the Mox product team and the product owner for the insurance business, the candidate will play a crucial role in driving and executing the partner strategy. Collaborating closely with affinity partners and the technology team, the candidate will be responsible for develop and manage partnerships including but not limited to insurers, brokerages, lifestyle partners. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the deployment of Mox Insure solutions and products to ensure it delivers the best-in-class customer experience while meeting business targets.
Responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Assist in identifying, cultivating and negotiating insurance partners as part of the MOX Insure strategy.
- Manage and foster strong relationships with insurance partners, ensure their compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support multiple distribution channels for insurance partnerships, lead by digital distribution, and other distribution channels.
- Collaborate with insurance partner’s internal departments to obtain comprehensive support services to MOX Insure.
- Develop and deliver business proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to effectively promote MOX Insure to external and internal stakeholder.
- Conduct regular business analysis, prepare reports to track performance, identify and recommend potential growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on competitor movements, digital advancements, and market trends.
Program Management
- Collaborate with Tech Lead of Insurance to ensure successful initiation and deployment of MOX Insure solutions and products with best-in-class customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels, effectively translating requirements into project objectives, and maintain consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure key deliverables are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide insights into product, technology, and market trends, pre-empting imminent disruptions and identifying opportunities for acceleration.
- Gather, track and manage user comments, bank needs, concept testing, analytics tools.
- Facilitate the build and testing of operational processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure app releases are smooth to customers and all services are working as expected.
Requirements
- University degree with 8 years or above insurance industry experience, preferably in aspect of affinity partnership distribution or bancassurance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance products, insurer and brokerage landscape, and regulations.
- Experience in business development, business consulting, program management with agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with solid problem-solving and execution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great organization skills to manage multiple tasks with ambiguity.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline in a start-up environment.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
- This role reports directly to Business Head, Insurance.
