Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Lead, Investment Product Governance / Control reporting into the Head of Investment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and facilitate the approvals of product programmes and ensure proper control is in place for all product lines.
  • Coordinate the new product approval process for all investment products and ensure compliant to the corresponding product programme.
  • Lead of the establishment of operating procedures for all investment products and services under management.
  • Govern the conduct of investment product due diligence with adequate ongoing monitoring.
  • Establish regulatory reporting procedures and ensure timely submission.
  • Provide secretarial support in running the Wealth Forum and Investment Steering Committee.
  • Monitor local and overseas regulation development closely and ensure the operational processes have the appropriate controls in place to satisfy related requirements.
  • Develop post trade monitoring control framework.
  • Act as Subject Matter Experts to support Product Owner in the development of new investment products and services.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in similar capacity.
  • Hands on experience in investment product due diligence work.
  • Experience in establishing investment product related control framework.
  • Experience in running wealth management related forum or committees.
  • Adept at managing and working with various key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and the regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or other related disciplines.
  • Qualify as a SFC Responsible Office (RO) and HKMA Executive Office (EO) to supervise Type 1 regulated activities.
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Good written and oral communication in English.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with positive mindset.
