Job Summary

Mox Bank in Hong Kong is a newly established Virtual Bank that offers a wide range of products to customers through our innovative App, providing a fresh and modern banking experience. With a strong commitment to expanding its retail financial business lines over the next five years, MOX Bank is dedicated to creating seamless customer journeys and digitizing every interaction to cater to the diverse needs of both potential and existing clients, including various types of need-based insurances.

As a key member of the MOX product team and the Lead, Insurance Growth for the insurance business, the candidate will play a crucial role in driving and executing the distribution strategy for all insurance products across the entire customer journey. Collaborating closely with insurers, technology, and marketing teams, the candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing campaigns to ensure that the insurance product roadmap aligns with the overall MOX bank strategy and that campaign KPIs meet our business objectives. Additionally, the candidate will leverage their expertise in customer life cycle management and insurance purchase journeys to lead product development initiatives with insurance partners.



__Distribution Strategy __

  • Drive a comprehensive digital-led insurance proposition across all main products by integrating insights from MOX bank products, customers, market trends, and consumer needs.
  • Conduct ongoing research on the insurance industry, disruptors, innovations, new coverage and benefits, and identify market protection gaps, leveraging martech, data and analytics.
  • Collaborate with insurance partners to create and tailor personalized product benefits, features, and packaging for MOX bank customers.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing message, creatives adhere to legal and organizational standards and delivery of the best customer experience.
  • Craft distribution strategy appropriate to customer proposition, utilizing digital & non-digital channels. Build distribution channels accordingly.
  • Passion and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Constantly analyze and identify new customer protection gaps and evolving needs to capitalize on opportunities. Implement appropriate products and leverage optimal channels for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Insurance Growth & Business Management

  • Define, plan, and guide best-in-class lifecycle omnichannel marketing initiatives for partners' insurance products, targeting existing and prospective customers, including general, health and life products.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer, Risk, Marketing, Growth, UX teams, and agile squads to strategize the digital insurance product features backlog, prioritize campaigns, evaluate effectiveness, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Define KPIs and drive ongoing pre- and post-campaign analysis and monitor campaign performance of all channels.
  • Prepare comprehensive business reports with data-driven insights to optimize sales funnel and campaign performance and enhance existing propositions.
  • Take ownership of campaign processes and production, managing end-to-end pre- and post-sales fulfillment across multiple products. Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for everything relating to digital-led and omnichannel lifecycle marketing.
  • Work closely with partners' distribution and operations team to drive sales responsibly and meet sales targets.
  • Actively monitor campaign expenses against approved parameters and marketing costs.


  • University degree with 12 years or above insurance industry experience, preferably with P&L ownership in distribution function or business unit.
  • Demonstrated results in improving lead volume, conversion rates, and retention across the customer lifecycle.
  • Strategic mindset to craft innovative distribution strategy and execution track records with internal and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of needs-based insurance proposition design, leveraging MarTech, marketing automation platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with solid problem-solving and execution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Great organization skills to manage multiple tasks with ambiguity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline in a start-up environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Chinese nice to have.
