Who are we looking for?

Reporting to the Head of Marketing at Mox, we are looking for a Copywriter to help us tell compelling stories that promote our brand and services, and inject soul into the best digital banking experience in Asia. He/she will play a role in shaping the Mox tone of voice that delivers a brand experience that will win customers’ hearts and help us achieve our business objectives. This will require you to:



  • Create high-quality copy in English and Chinese for the Mox app, emails, push notifications, website, digital ads and other communication channels as required.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Design teams to formulate the right narrative and messaging angles to craft compelling creative content.
  • Partner with Mox’s in-house design team or external agencies to ideate and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Support Legal, Compliance, and Customer Service teams in content and copy vetting as required to ensure accuracy and consistency in brand material.
  • Contribute to brand identity and voice through creative content creation.
  • Independently coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, from gathering requirements to obtaining approvals, and implementing content through different channel or product owners.
  • Act as the gatekeeper to ensure accuracy and consistency of our content and language.
  • Provide support for other tasks of the Customer Team as required.


  • Excellent proficiency in both traditional Chinese and English writing.
  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience in agencies, in-house roles, or with media publications.
  • Preference for candidates with previous experience writing for banks, financial institutions, and/or technology products.
  • A portfolio showcasing his/her experience in developing copy for cross-channel media, including both digital and conventional channels, as well as the ability to produce long-form content (e.g. advertorials).
  • Sense of humour, a creative mindset, and the ability to communicate to consumers in a serious yet fun way.
  • Willingness to embrace technology with strong understanding of digital best practices.
  • Agile mindset and ability to work plus adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in language, journalism or a related field.
