Yes. The standard delivery time for the physical Mox Card is approximately 7 working days following account creation. This timeline does not apply to overseas addresses, for which delivery will require an extended period. The delivery status of your Mox Card will be shown in the app.

The digital version of your Mox Card will be available and ready to use as soon as you have created your Mox account and experience Mox banking services.

Can I add my Mox Card to WeChat Pay and Alipay?

Yes. You can start using your Mox Card after you have transferred in funds. The digital version of your Mox Card will be available and ready to use for online payments as soon as you have created your Mox account. You can also add your Mox Card to WeChat Pay and Alipay.

Before You Begin:

  • Ensure your phone card is activated.
  • International SMS must be enabled on your mobile number to receive the verification code if you are not using a Hong Kong mobile phone number.

WeChat Pay Instructions

  1. Open the WeChat app and tap Me > Pay > Wallet.
  2. Tap Cards and then select + Add a Card.
  3. Enter your Mox card details as prompted (card number, expiry date, etc.).
  4. Confirm your name and ID number as it appears on your bank records.
  5. You will receive an SMS verification code from Mox. Enter this code in the WeChat app.
  6. Set a 6-digit payment password for WeChat Pay (if it’s your first time).
  7. Your card is now added! You can set it as your default payment method.

Alipay Instructions

  1. Open the Alipay app and tap Me > Bank Cards.
  2. Tap + Add Card.
  3. Enter your Mox card details as prompted.
  4. Confirm your name and identity details to match your bank records.
  5. You will receive an SMS verification code from Mox. Enter this code in the Alipay app.
  6. Your card will be successfully added. You may now use it for payments.
Are there any transaction limits for my account?

For security, you are required to transfer at least HKD 1,000, CNY 950 or USD130 to your Mox Account from a bank account in your own name held with a licensed bank in Hong Kong or Mainland China. Until this same name transfer is completed, certain transaction limits apply, including a zero daily limit for some activities.

Can I open two Mox Accounts, one with my Hong Kong Identity Card and one with the People's Republic of China Resident Identity Card?

No, You may only hold one Mox account. If you hold both a Hong Kong ID and another form of identification, please use your HKID for account opening and verification. If our system detects multiple accounts under your identities, we will notify you, and you will have 30 days to close the duplicate account(s).

Why can’t I access Mox Credit, Mox Invest, or Mox Insure after logging into my account?
