Human Resources Operations Specialist

We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist to delivery HR Operations, manage vendor governance and HR risk & compliance. The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR process to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Experience in HR function in FI or fintech environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivery company processes including payroll oversight, benefit administration, salary tax reporting, employee data management and analytics
  • Process expert, oversee and contribute to end to end effectiveness and efficiency of HR processes
  • Gather ideas, best practice and lessons learned and drive useful improvement implementations
  • Problem solving, handle complex staff queries and prepare responses to Labor department / IRDs enquiries upon request
  • Support process review and implementation of technology changes to HR
  • Effectively collaborate within HR and effectively work across cross functional teams
  • Manage Third party vendors and Internal Sourcing through global vendor management framework
  • Establish, document and track service level standards with outsourced parties and vendors
  • Effectively monitor vendor performance through agreed SLAs, and highlight areas of concern in relevant service review forums and work towards immediate closure of identified gaps with short term and long-term solutions
  • Proactively identify risks in operations and processes and table them for discussion with Operational Risk and for management reporting
  • Ensure that operational processes have the appropriate controls in place to satisfy external regulation and internal policy requirements
  • Support internal and external audit for data and facilitate audit for HR Operations areas
Requirements
  • University graduate in Human Resources Management, business administration or relevant disciplines
  • Solid experience in Human Resources function, preferably in FI, start up or fintech environment
  • Well versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, Salary tax, MPF Scheme Ordinance and other statutory regulations related to human resources
  • Ability to learn new systems, subject matters and processes quickly
  • Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Able to work independently & under pressure
  • Mature, flexible, committed, detail-minded and a good team player
  • Experience in managing third party vendors and outsourced working partners to support delivery
  • Experience in process engineering and change management desirable
