Head/Lead of the CIO office

You will lead a small team to provide support to the CIO in areas of strategy, communications, team development, organizational tools and initiative/project planning and execution. While the role has clearly defined areas of responsibility, it is also fluid and you will need to be able to dive into any area of the business, understand business needs, and facilitate decisions based on changing priorities.

  • Work at the intersection of business and technology to drive the CIO’s vision.

  • Lead and contribute to company-wide priorities, Technology strategy, initiatives, projects and crucial tasks.

  • Be the primary point of contact for Tech related KPI’s and metrics (e.g. financials/cost, team structure, progress against goals/OKRs).

  • Assist CIO to allocate and control Technology budget, create budgets, model scenarios and track results.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reporting and presentations and communications for various audiences.

  • Provide relevant information, analysis and insights from various sources to help Tech Leadership make more informed decision.

  • Work closely with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) and owners to understand cost drivers and recommend actions to optimize.

  • Measure and report on progress toward key results, escalating risks to senior leadership and removing roadblocks as neede.

  • Organize technology portfolio of vendors, tools and applications including cost analysis, identification of savings opportunities, selection of solutions and vendors.

  • Create and maintain relationships within the team, across-departments, and with external stakeholders to enable leadership success, build deep partnerships and bring alignmen.

  • Manage and coach team of direct reports.

  • Establish and oversee structure required for efficient business operations of the Technology team.

  • Provide guidance and training to Technology Department on internal policies, processes and system.

  • Support and continuously optimize day-to-day business operations (e.g., timely vendor payment and renewals.

要求
  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Commerce or other relevant discipline.

  • Proven track record delivering initiative/project(s) in similar domain e.g. technology/digital solutions (website, mobile app); digital transformation, business process improvements.

  • Understanding of business, and financial concepts, tools, and frameworks;

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and IT methodologies.

  • Experience as a people manager.

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to build relationships and rapport fast and constantly expand internal networks, proven lateral leadership skills.

  • Can prioritise multiple initiatives/projects and work independently and respond in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems (you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves).

  • Ability to toggle between big picture strategy and deep-dive tactical problem-solving.
