Who are we looking for?

We would like to look for a Product Owner, Cards and Spends to provide insights into product, tech, and market trends, pre-empting imminent disruptions and identifying opportunities for acceleration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insights into product, tech, and market trends, pre-empting imminent disruptions and identifying opportunities for acceleration

  • Deliver the best-in-class customer experiences, with cutting edge risk management & reg technologies

  • Optimising end to end card customer life cycle. From set up, fulfilment, early activation to CVP implementation and utilization, enabling payments and lending solutions from card to maturity i.e. engagement and retaining share of wallet. Consecutively make researches about new features, identify possible outbreaking updates or changes within the sector, inform the teams about the changes and possible usage scenarios in our services

  • Gather, track and manage user comments, service feedback, bank needs, concept testing, analytics tools

  • Facilitate the build and testing of operational processes, systems, and reporting capabilities

  • Ensure the card services running 24/7 with very high response within the shortest response time. Work with vendor partners in keeping up service levels, optimize costs and negotiations for renewals and new initiatives

  • Ensure bi-weekly app releases are smooth to customers and all services are working as expected

  • Working closely with business analysis, UX teams and technology teams to plan the product features backlog, prioritize, evaluate and deliver the initiatives. Ensure all teams has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on

  • Collaborate with marketing, Customer Service and stakeholders for product roll out

  • Design, monitor and report on product KPIs, measure effectiveness of features and sharing results and insights within the organization

Requirements

  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in product ownership as well as service delivery with a strong technical background

  • Fluent English - Cantonese gives you a clear advantage

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with agile development methodologies

  • Knowledge and understanding of the 4 parties transaction model, payment gateways and schemes with commercial

  • Experience working in cards (credit and debit) domain is preferred

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, designing test scenarios and executing tests

  • An ability to think strategically and creatively

  • Vendor relationship management and contract / SLA negotiation skills is a plus

  • Attention to details, spot opportunities and failure points
