Who are we looking for?

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role primarily oversees the backend operations of the equities and mutual funds products, with an oversight of the payment and treasury operations. We are looking for passionate individual with hands-on experience in investment products operations, and a genuine interest to excel the career in the virtual banking industry.



  • Design and operate the daily equities trading and mutual funds operations, which include trade capture processing, settlement, corporate actions, FX, cash and investment positions reconciliations.
  • Conduct AML screening and the related process for any new stock.
  • Design and implement the Business Continuity Plan for the Investment Services.
  • Support the Investment Product Team on any new service and product launch.
  • Work closely with the trustee, custodian and the broker.
  • Oversee a small team of payment settlement and treasury backend operations team, monitor the daily cash flow of the nostro account and the funding position of the Bank, and work closely with the treasury desk execute the trade transactions.
  • Manage and execute the control process in accordance with the internal and external policies & regulations, which includes the sanctions and related screening, daily monitoring and exceptions handling mechanism.
  • Prepare the regular reporting of performance index, escalations, and risk items.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies, and initiate continuous process improvement to ensure the Bank is at the forefront of the business.
  • Ensure strict adherence of regulatory, compliance and internal control requirements.


  • Minimum 8 years experience in any asset management operations, of which at least 5 years in SFC authorized equities / funds operations.
  • Solid knowledge of investment products including equities, fixed income, and FX.
  • General knowledge with FPS, ACH, RTGS, SWIFT and the related settlement systems a plus.
  • Proven experience and capabilities in overseeing and mitigating operational risk, and drive control activities; able to attend to imminent operational issues around the clock, both within and after office hours.
  • Able to work hands-on, and with different cultures, good interpersonal and analytical skills; good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
