Who are we looking for?

The CIO Office team works at the intersection of business and technology to drive the CIO’s vision - plan and execute Mox-wide priorities, Mox Bank Technology strategy, improve performance, and create sustainable value.

Reporting into the Head of the CIO office, you will part of an exciting and dynamic team. You will be a key contact for the Tech leadership team and internal and external stakeholders working on a mix of strategic initiatives and operational responsibilities. Initially focused on risk management, governance, process improvement, and control enhancement initiatives/projects. The scope of your responsibilities will grow to include strategic planning, financial, vendor, relationship and workforce management.

This is a new position and would suit candidates with a background in IT Advisory looking for broader scope and challenge.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities.
  • Work closely with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) and owners to respond to Internal/External Audit and regulatory requests.
  • Create frameworks, tools or processes to track requests, regular reporting, tracking of issues and progress of the remediation plans.
  • Point of contact for Tech related KPI’s and metrics (e.g., team structure, progress against goals/OKRs).
  • Assist Head of CIO office to control Technology budget, model scenarios and track results.
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives/projects that deliver improvements or strategic objectives within Technology end-to-end: scope, analyse, plan, execute, monitor and track benefits.
  • Measure and report on progress toward objectives, escalating risks and removing roadblocks as needed.
  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting and presentations with analytical and strategic information for various audiences.
  • Continually streamline/automate processes to improve efficiency, collaborating with other teams as required (Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Legal).
  • Assist in managing technology budget and portfolio of vendors, tools and applications including cost analysis, identification of savings opportunities, selection of solutions and vendors.
  • Provide guidance and support to Technology Department on adherence to internal policies and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree in (Computer) Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or other relevant disciplines.
  • Comfortable talking to internal and external stakeholders of diverse backgrounds – from Engineers to Finance.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to build relationships and rapport fast and constantly expand internal networks
  • Can prioritise multiple initiatives/projects and work independently and respond in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems (you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves).
  • Experience in or working knowledge of cloud technologies and/or risk frameworks is a plus but not required.
